Subject: from robert greenwald, director of iraq for sale.

Dear Mr. Koegel,

Mr. Lessig has forwarded your letter. We will be happy to post your letter on our website with a video interview with Mr. London. We firmly reject the accuracy of your letter, but rather then go up and back with third parties, look forward to a discussion and exchange with Mr. London. We will of course post on the website the full and complete transcript of the interview. We look forward to hearing from you and setting a date when we can do the interview...

Sincerely,
robert greenwald

Dear Mr. Greenwald:

You have admitted, publicly and proudly, that Iraq for Sale is a campaign film; its unabashed agenda is to affect the upcoming election. That is, of course, your prerogative. But we don't see it as your prerogative to do so in a false and deceitful manner with respect to CACI. As my recent letter explains in detail, the film bears no semblance to the truth regarding CACI's activities in Iraq. Ignoring the harsh reality of those facts, you ask for an “interview” with CACI's CEO. Why in the world would anyone associated with CACI ever, ever, ever submit to an “interview” with you when you have no interest in the truth about CACI.

An “interview” allows the interviewer to make an assessment of the other party by obtaining information about a specific subject. But you made your assessment about CACI long ago and did so with reckless disregard for the facts. Clearly, we don't regard what you have in mind as an interview, and CACI has no interest in contributing to your propaganda.

The facts about CACI are laid out in my recent letter to Professor Lessig, and we ask, again, that you post the letter in its entirety on your website.

Sincerely,
J. William Koegel, Jr.

Dear Mr. Koegel, Jr.

Your recent letter is filled with inaccurate and false statements. However, as we at brave new films remain committed to honest and accurate information I will repeat once again our offer. In the interest of CACI having a complete and full forum to tell its side of the war profiteering story we will interview Mr. London and post the interview on our website. We will post the full and complete interview in both video and text form.

Your knowingly false statements about brave new films bear no connection to reality. As you well know CACI has been given numerous opportunities before the film was finished, and since the film was finished to have their full story told by Mr. London. Caci"s refusal to participate in the film and now your efforts to bully and silence us will not succeed.

Your refusal after numerous requests in both telephone and email to have CACI tell its side of the story leads us to the conclusion this is further effort to hide the fact that Mr. London has made over 20 million dollar in his stock in the last year and does not wish to discuss the issue of war profiteering.

sincerely,
robert greenwald, brave new film.
